    Load of Carp

This the Mirage 1/48 PZL-23 Karas (Carp), another older build that I hope you don't mind me posting. It's a real dichotomy of a kit. On the one hand it's brimming with detail (everything you see in the cockpit for instance is out-of-the-box the box); on the other, it's as if the wings and...

    Portuguese Texan

This is an older build of the Occidental 1/48 T-6G Texan. From what I've read it's based on the Monogram T-6 but has engraved panel lines. It's quite a nice kit; detail's a bit soft in places but there's a lot in the cockpit, the clear parts aren't bad and the overall fit is good. I added Eduard...

    Czech biplane

This is RS Models 1/72 Avia Ba.122, a pre-war civilian aerobatic aircraft although a few were pressed into service at the outbreak of hostilities. It's a short-run kit so needed quite a bit of work.

    Airfix 1/72 Vought Kingfisher

It's a couple of years old now but I haven't posted it here before. Re-scribed, WEM photo-etch interior, Squadron vac canopies, my own decals and a bunch of minor scratch additions. I also corrected the kit's incorrect flaps.

    SAM 2 missile & trailer: Trumpeter 1/35

Really enjoyed building/painting this one. A lot of ejection-pin holes and seams to clean up but great fun.
  6. The Migrant

    Airfix 1/72 Fiat G-91

This kit's older than I am, originally tooled in 1959! Re-scribed and a few added details plus my own Portuguese decals.
  7. The Migrant

    Too much strings

Eduard's Airco DH-2, 1/48 scale. A lot of work, particularly in the rigging, but a beautifully engineered kit. Posed here with Gavia's 1/48 Bristol Scout C in the background.
  8. The Migrant

    Pin-up Lancaster

Revell 1/72 Lancaster, not much added except I replaced the wheels and props from an Airfix kit as they're more accurate. Decals are a combination of Xtradecal and my own (nose-art) to represent 'Pistol-Packin Mama' of RAF 100 Sq.
  9. The Migrant

    P-51B 'Scarlet Kate' 1/72

Academy 1/72 kit. I built this at the same time as a Revell P-51B as a comparison of the two kits. This one has a True Details cockpit set though nothing can be seen of it through the canopy Decals are home-made, invasion stripes are painted.
  10. The Migrant

    Captured Jack

This is quite old now, it's Hasegawa's lovely 1/48 Mitsubishi J2M3 Jack finished in captured markings. Apart from the home-made decals it's out-of-box.
