Well, things are coming along, but I've gotten to the point where I'm working on the clear bits and there's an issue. The sliding part of the canopy clear part has sprue gates that attached to the window in such a way that it would make part of the clear window stick out proud about a millimeter...- Ed Sunder

I've started attaching the gear, gear doors etc. and I've found that the main gear is about 0.5mm or so off the deck, with the other gear attached. I decided to mask the top of the wing and hand paint the bottom (who looks at the bottom?) and completely mask off the tail. Lots of gray on this one so far - though some of my detail painting this morning added some color... I could, but I think I'd rather paint it. Minor update - I've done an awful lot of sanding and filling to try to remove seams and have shot a coat of primer over it and it's looking pretty decent - I have a little seam cleanup needed: I've also realized there are sink marks on the top of the wheel pylons. Well, I've started putting together some of the underwing stuff. I haven't yet decided whether to use the laser guided or IR AGM-65s.
