decal diaster
hi everyone just had major diaster with my honda rc211v'06 done usual steps prime-paint-clearcoat-apply decals-applied final coat of clear and diaster the decals melted but only on the upper and lower fairings everything else is perfect used all tamiya products ie spray paint and clearcoat cant... -

semi gloss black
hi everyone just been wondering about semi gloss black and the fact it seems only tamiya produce this colour is there an alternative its ok to spray with but like most tamiya colours a bugger to paint with was thinking of trying satin black but not sure if it would look the same just wondered... -

cutting decals
hi everyone i just applied some decals to my latest build thing is they go over to separate pieces of the build and so need cutting do i clear coat it first thinking it will make them stiffer and easier to cut or cut them before i give it the final coat of gloss hope that all makes sense- meggsy

this is my latest build wasnt going to do another bike i did start a revell huey chopper but the fit was so bad i put it to one side and decided to do another tamiya cant go wrong with them far superior. il post some more photos soon.- meggsy

Tamiya me 109 e3 and spitfire mk1
couple of kits ive had for while finally got round to finishing quite pleased with them except for some of the decals first time using microsol+set and the canopies seem a lot darker in the photos any comments welcome -

removing spray lines
Jus sprayed a tamiya 1/24 scale car body with tamiya spray but where it was masked of I've got a raised line I don't really want to go near it with wet and dry do any of you know of another way to blend the lines in any advice would be greatly recieved- meggsy

does any one happen to know where i can get some replacement parts for a tamiya model ive just ruined looked on google but all it seems too be is r/c spares cant find plastic kit parts anywhere -

clear varnish
ive just about finished a tamiya me109 i put a few of the small decals on but whilst reading though the forums on here i see a lot of you coat your models ive decided to do the same im going use humbrol matt cote is this ok and will it effect the decals already applied cheers- meggsy

using black on models
it seems that u chaps dont seem to use straight black on your models but quite a few of you add red i was just wondering wot ratio do u mix the black and red and does this rule apply to all types of black ie semi gloss-flat and gloss and does it apply to all models wether car ship bike or plane...- meggsy
