It’s nothing like a search engine, as per the picture it would show a list of other brands of the same colour, none of them listed would be out of stock, we use live stock levels and it would only show in stock items. -

As I’ve said it’s not a conversation chart, in this case, it’s all the other clear greens we stock. The way I thought it would work was, if someone searched for example C138 clear green and it was out of stock, you would see the alternative listed below, rather than do a new search for clear green -

It’s not to convert colours, its the product page, it’s a quick reference if the one you’re looking at is out of stock, but it also shows other brands of the same colour. No they will differ, but what the manufacturer calls them will be the same. All the ones in the example are what we stock... -

I want to make it easy for people, if they search for a Tamiya paint and that’s out of stock, on the product page there will be the other alternatives with a add to cart button, just makes it quicker, it would also serve as a, “I didn’t know that brand did that” -

I'm having to do it manually, and only use the lines we stock, that's why it will take me quite a while to do, it will also depend what the name of the paint is, if I have RLM02 then it's easy to find, but blue grey or blue gray, not so easy -

I can show the server setup if you feel you can improve it and help, it’s not a cheap server, far from it, it also hosts one of my business sites so it needs to be right, I’ve not noticed any issues for quite a few days, I’m guessing it was slow when you posted so I will try and get some info... -

It does seem to me much better today, it might be nothing to do with the server, it might be how it's routed and it could have been an issue elsewhere that is now fixed -
