    Eduard 1/48 A6M3 Zero type 32

Thanks Joe 🙏 I Added some more damage to the nicely molded kit parts, left-side of the horizontal stabilizer, Also on the right wing, The rudder and other flight surfaces were covered in fabric, which I find much harder to replicate as 'damaged'. I gave it a try on the rudder, by keeping...

    Eduard 1/48 A6M3 Zero type 32

Life is getting in the way again, but at least I've managed to get the pilot and cockpit done. Some progress pictures of the pilot, I had a hard time with this one - messed up the eyes a few times etc. I glued the pilot with super glue (gel) - to save time I painted the instrument gauges...

    Italeri Tiger I Ausf. E Tank - 1:35

Looking good Peter, I build this one twice (as a kid and returning to hobby) nice to see it again on a bench. The rubber on the wheels was a hard solid rubber because of the weight. On the later version they dropped the rubber and used only steel, if I'm not mistaken due to rubber shortage...

    1/48 ESCI Henschel hs 129

Nice progress Tony, a lot of extra work but looks like you're on top of it. Those inlet-boxes under the cowlings seem to vary a lot indeed, round, boxy... Probably based on the type of engine used or something.

1/16 figure - Air Transport Auxiliary pilot

Difficult - but I like the one on the right the most Tony, it has some extra color variation around the eyes. Hope you'll get some more usable feedback from other painters, have fun 🎨 , cheers

Pre/Post Shading question with type of airbrush

I'm still using my old H&S Hansa 381 (0.3mm) and always use it with the needle cap removed, even when spraying primer. It only goes on when I put it back in the closset. I also bought a cheap Fengda FE-183 (0.5mm) for varnishing, which also has a removable needle cap. Cheers

    Latest Acquisitions (2026)

Looking forward to see you dealing with those decals :p should be fun

    Dust.

I use a cheap 'fan' shaped brush, which is flat/soft for my airplane models. Others (Kacitgirl?) have mentioned makeup brushes, which you'll find in all shapes and sizes at any women-friendly store. Probably the safest for delicate models is low presure air from an airbrush.
