    Joe's Trumpeter 1/72 Mig-29C Fulcrum

I think ICM issued their kit with that option, and no doubt the decals can be purchased. I'm not going near digital camouflage, decals or paint.

    Joe's Academy 1/72 F-16C Thunderbirds

Cheers Tony. I'm using Mr Color lacquers, the coverage was acceptable. I just ran out of paint and probably didn't cover the second or third pass completely. Shadows don't help, it looked completely covered under the spray booth lights. To be fair, when we were all young we used large paint...

    Joe's Academy 1/72 F-16C Thunderbirds

Cheers Steve and Geoff. Solid is a good word for it. A lot of it will be covered by the team markings, but the areas I was concerned about coincided with those that wouldn't be covered.

Geoffs Airfix 1/48 North American F-86F Sabre.

Not ideal quality from Airfix, but I am sure you can overcome these issues with your skill, Geoff. The Sabre has mixed reviews, maybe as you say they did change the plastic. I have found that darker grey plastic Airfix uses to be very soft and prone to damage.
