Volvo FH 16 globetrotter and curtainside trailer

That has turned out very nicely indeed Kaci. Your weathering has given it a realistic used look.

BOATMANS B58 HUSTLER IN 148th scale with lights

Awesome Chris, the Hustler has a real Cold War beast look to it. The decals look okay in that photo, but it might be a good idea to treat them to a decal bonder of some sort just to be sure.

Boatmans 1/200 scale USS HORNET CV8 BUILD AN LIGHTS for the Doolittle raid on japan

Looks great with the box art behind it, Chris.

    Still trying.

Tony, when using DuckDuckGo: when you are on the forum, simply press the three lines at bottom right of your iPhone, then press "Add Favorite". This puts the icon on the Home Screen for the browser, and also adds it to the bookmarks. I don't think you can add it as a home screen as such, as DDG...

    Curtainsider trailer

Makes sense to use whatever you have to hand. Probably not much different to the weathering powders packaged as model specific

    Hello All

Welcome to the forum James. Just saw your Carpathia model thread. You have some good variety going on with your builds, looking forward to seeing more.

Dragon 1/72 Apollo 11 recovery with Old 66.

Stefan, a real beauty mate. The Sea King looks fantastic, I know you battled a bit with it that kit. Well worth the fight, because it's turned out very nicely indeed. The sea scape with the ripples and space equipment is nicely done. A very dramatic and historic moment in time captured superbly...

    Joe's Academy 1/72 F-16C Thunderbirds

Thanks Jim. The tint looks more pronounced in the photos, especially the runners. The gold tint helps with reducing radar cross section. For a later-Block F-16 the canopies reverted to clear as Night Vision became widespread. The F-22 and F-35 have gold tinted canopies, presumably night vision...

    Joe's Academy 1/72 F-16C Thunderbirds

It's not idea to have a seam at all, but most modern one-piece canopies appear to have one. Must be the way they are moulded.

Geoffs Airfix 1/48 North American F-86F Sabre.

Great to see this started Geoff. It's quite a dark plastic in that kit by the looks of it

    Joe's Academy 1/72 F-16C Thunderbirds

I was thinking of ways Jen could combine her hobby with the model kit. No idea what adhesive to use. You could build the model up for her, and Jen could apply the crystals using PVA white glue?

    Joe's Academy 1/72 F-16C Thunderbirds

Cheers Steven. Me too, I get to the point where I just have to take the plunge or I'll worry too much about screwing it up.

Room / Building temperature affecting paint?

Your paint woes are most likely caused by the temperature and humidity combination Peter, as Kaci said. Try painting in the morning, cover your work from dust, and avoid touching the paint for a day or so.
