    1/35 TAMIYA StuG 1V

That's a much smoother paint job John, very nice. I still use acrylics and enamels occasionally, but for me the ease of Tamiya and Mr Color paints makes the process a much more pleasant experience. I also use a HP-CS, a great piece of equipment which is like the Toyota Hilux of the airbrush...

Nick's Airfix 1/72 F14A Tomcat - Geoffers US Icons Group Build

Off to a good start Nick. The white plastic is very vintage Airfix. The "iconic" 1986 film everyone relates to, but my first memories of the F-14 are from the "Final Countdown". Splash the Zeroes.

Nick's Airfix 1/48 Spitfire Mk XIV.

Progressing nicely Nick. Enjoy your road trip

    Brian's Sovereign of the seas

Good progress Brian. It's great that you are all tooled up after the Victory, things should be a lot smoother for SOS

    Joe's Academy 1/72 F-16C Thunderbirds

I have been continuing basic construction of the fuselage, and while that's setting, I decided to tackle the canopy. Like many modern kits, the canopy parts have a seam line running down the middle. I scraped the seam with a fresh blade, then sanded the areas with 1,000 and 3,000 grade...

    Joe's Academy 1/72 F-16C Thunderbirds

Cheers Chris. Jen should give it a try. 50p is a bargain! Why not build it and then diamond it instead of paint  Jen's Bling Machine. 1/32 is big, I look forward to seeing your build when you get around to it. The grey schemes are a bit bland, but with your lights it will really stand out.

    Joe's Academy 1/72 F-16C Thunderbirds

Cheers Neil. I'm sure all will be well in the end Thanks Geoff. Yes, they have really improved a lot over the past decade or so with both their originality and refined mouldings. I really enjoy building their kits, especially those with the newer decals.

    Joe's Academy 1/72 F-16C Thunderbirds

Thanks Steve. I was also thinking about the clean configuration of the Thunderbirds F-16. With no external stores, there is not a lot forward of the main wheels.

    Steven's Eduard 1/48 F6F-3 Hellcat

That wing fit is surprising for Eduard. Your correction looks good Steven.

    Joe's Academy 1/72 F-16C Thunderbirds

Thanks Tony. I think this was the most American subject I could get out of my stash. It's a nicely formed kit, and yep, not looking forward to the decal application. They are Cartograf though, and so far the tiny ones have been great.

    Brian's Sovereign of the seas

Cutting edge of it's time I presume.

    Joe's Academy 1/72 F-16C Thunderbirds

I have made a start on my contribution to this GB. The F-16's cockpit is quite detailed. Most of it is very small in 1/72. The MFD screens have decals provided, and the ejection seat has decal stencils for the seat sides. Otherwise there was a lot of dry brushing and picking out detail with...

    Brian's Sovereign of the seas

Great start Brian. Is this as large as Victory? It looks pretty big already

Tamiya SAS Jeep 1/35 finished pics

Brilliant job Tony. By the sounds of things, you have certainly had appropriate weather conditions in which to photograph your Jeep. I thoroughly enjoyed watching your creation come to life

    Steven's Eduard 1/48 F6F-3 Hellcat

Looking very nice Steven. I like the use of the balsa, not too heavy but strong enough for the stand.
