    Academy Sdkfz 251 ausf c

There were 4 different manufacturers for the 251/1 & many changes with combat experience, so interior fittings were 'as needed'. Standard weapon loads also changed. Restored vehicle pictures are not very accurate generally, so actual in service photos are best for reference. Consider; crew kit...

Best material for base board on a diorama?

I always seal unfinished wood products with clear varnish and paint to be finished surfaces before adding foam, plaster, or glue for dio. additions. Some bases are close to 30 years old w/o the least bit of warp. The larger ones have hardwood subframes.

    New person

Makeup foam is firm enough so a very light touch with almost no paint on it will work wonders picking out the highlights. You would need to get it from a user though, as to buy it, I've only seen it in bulk.

    Dayton Air Show

Missed it, but heard some of the WWII prop planes. They had a Corsair, P38, P51 Razorback and a DC3. You cannot mistake the Corsair & Mustang, They sound like a 427 Cobra and Ferrari respectively in comparison.

    Hold My Beer

Thanks guys. I haven't found a chucker in the states yet Neil, so will rely on Mandrake the magician again if I can find him. This whole wingy thing is a bit of a chore, but nothing as tough as floaty things. I'm dreading the water part, but I have to learn sometime. Whining w/first cuppa.
