    Brian's Caldercraft 1/72 HMS Victory

I found my book; "Nelson's Victory". Mostly history of the ship and her crew - an interesting read but no details of the materials. There are several contemporary paintings of Victory that show a similar grey area above the stern gallery windows. I think it must be lead or painted canvas, but...

    Brian's Caldercraft 1/72 HMS Victory

About 10 - 12 years ago I bought a book about the history of HMS Victory that went into great detail about the various changes that have been made to her, and the various colours she's been painted. SCRATCHBUILT CANNON

Very nice. I used to have a Unimat but never managed to turn anything with it - not enough power. At that time I had the use of a Myford ML7 in work so I sold the Unimat to one of my lecturers who used it to turn tuning pegs for Welsh harps. Pete

    Pete's magic wand shop

Well, at long last I think (and hope!) I'v finished making magic wands, spell bottles, and other wizards' paraphernalia, and now I can start on the building: It's certainly not a shake and bake kit! I should be able to make more progress now though. Pete
