    Aston Martin Ulster.... 1/32 Matchbox

Not done a genuine Matchbox kit (as opposed to a Revell rebox) for a very long time Got this recently in an auction job lot.... Didn't appeal at first cos it's an odd scale to me Plan was to do in BRG but I found some pics of red ones and I think it looks rather smart Apparently they didn't...

    Ferrari F50...... Revell 1/24

On hold for time being...... It has some crush damage to the bodyshell so everything is slightly out of kilter...... It's not a job stopper but I need something straight forward and easy at the moment... So on to the shelf of doom with it lol Back to the stash to see what takes my fancy

    Worst /best kit you’ve built.

Worst would be the dh comet recently but that was simply cos it was a 65+ year old kit in the modern world......... I hate Eduard, never had any luck with them.... My jinx brand Best kit is hard to pin down..... Years ago I did a hasegawa Datsun 240z that went together perfectly that comes to mind

    Very puzzled and annoyed

Use an old tooth brush to scrub in nooks and crannys and wash under water REALLY well to neutralise it I have a Tupperware type box that's just the right size for a car body shell, use a funnel with kitchen paper as a filter to put it back in the bottle.... If your careful you can get quite a...

    GB idea

Just been reading up on tamiya There's another good reason for this GB 2026 marks the 80th year since the company was founded..... Originally as a timber supply company with a sideline in wooden models of ships and planes..... Wasn't til the 60s that they got into plastic

MiG 17 Fresco..... 'Bloomin MiGs everywhere GB'

Airfix 1/72 MiG 17 Fresco Egyptian Air Force 1956 Mixed feelings about this kit.... I found it ok... Not the best but not the worst Most problems were of my own doing It's a tail sitter despite the nose being packed with ballast.... Airfix must have anticipated this cos they include an oil...
