Good evening all So two weekends ago, I was at this show with the club. It's about as far north as we go and so there were clubs there which don't normally see at the shows closer to us, which is a nice thing. OK chaps, bit more of an in-depth update: pilot added to cockpit and generally looking ok in situ cockpit 'tub' closed up and fits very well initial fuselage dry fit tests are promising, with interesting way of fitting fuselage to lower wing helping a great deal. Hi all So cockpit and pilot are ready for assembly....just waiting for the varnish to fully cure. In hindsight, it would have been easier to not glue the cockpit's main frame elements in place until all were painted, as it makes installing the seat in particular much harder....you live and...- adt70hk

Thanks chaps. He's actually much better when fully in focus!! 😂 He really is very nice. Unfortunately, when I had a quick look at my phone after taking the picture he looked alright but by the time I was about to post the picture, it was too late to get a better shot as I'd started to paint...- adt70hk

OK chaps, so just a short update...actually from the beginning of the week but not had a chance to post the pics until now Cockpit, seat and IP painted. Just need to assemble it all. As I said not going overboard, what with the pilot going in....I'll just do a pin wash. Prop and spinner also...- adt70hk

Coming on nicely Joe!! I also spotted the step for fitting the closed canopy completely by chance - just have to make sure that I actually do it!. I also have to trim the tail place in the same way to get the rudder on! Talking about not making it easy!! :cautious: ATB Andrew- adt70hk
