After what seems an age the second layer of planking is finished but there is still a lot to do before the final sand and filling And the next parts to be fitted are the resin bow and stern fittings and the centre prop former some more decking pieces and more parts for the upper hull- peterairfix

Frame complete up to issue 3 not very difficult just having to make sure that the frames are square And making sure that the deck beams are flush with the tops of the framework- peterairfix

Airfix 1/72 westland scout
As most of my modelling stuff is packed away and I am getting a little bit bored with nothing to do I dug out the minimum of tools and built this one little one and as it's a later moulding it had lots of flash and rather I'll fitting but here's what I made of it.- peterairfix

No building for the foreseeable future
After the passing of my mum I haven't got the will to build anything yet on top of that I have to sort out her things plus I have find full time work and to top it off I will be move as I can't stay in a two bed place I will still pop in from time to time- peterairfix
