    Lee Drennen’s Volvo F-12-20 Globetrotter & Twin-Axle Semi Trailer

Yes he worked for himself for a time, sub-contracting for another haulage firm. He gave it up though as he liked the driving, but not all the accounting side of being self employed.

Gary's 1/48 Eduard Spitfire Mk.IIa Weekend Edition build

That's a cracking choice! I'm actually reading one of Bader's books at present - not a bad read.

    Steve's 1/32 Revell Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IXc

A very nice choice HH, that looks like a beast of a kit.

    Joe's Airfix 1/48 Spitfire Mk1

Yep, like you and Geoff I'm in the process of moving over to larger scales - much easier on my terrible eyesight. You're making a great start Joe!

Portman's Spitfire mk.II LR (Airfix 1/72 and 3D-kit Conv. set)

Thanks Gents - it's certainly an interesting oddity. As it is I made a start this morning, painting up the interior green and assembling the wings. This is a very simple kit so it won't take too long to get together. Photo's to follow when I have something to photo lol!

    Peter's Airfix Spitfire Mk.1a - 1:72 - PRU in PINK!

Nice choice Peter, it's a nice easy kit that builds up well. The RAF figures are a nice touch.

Welcome to this Anniversary GB, 90 years of Spitfires.

That's very true - and I also think that if there's one subject they know well - it's Spitfires!

    Lee Drennen’s Volvo F-12-20 Globetrotter & Twin-Axle Semi Trailer

That's very nice Lee - you're doing a great job of it. I do like the old F12's. My Dad owned a Globetrotter for a while back in the 90's. I hope you're keeping well sir.

Portman's Spitfire mk.II LR (Airfix 1/72 and 3D-kit Conv. set)

Hi Paul, As Andy said, it was the 'Long Range' version - an attempt was made to increase the range of the Spitfire with that blooming awful looking tank under the wing - it wasn't hugely successful! Cheers!

    Tamiya 1/72 Junkers Ju87G-2 Stuka

That's a very interesting subject, that paintwork is excellent.

Portman's Spitfire mk.II LR (Airfix 1/72 and 3D-kit Conv. set)

Something a bit different (I hope). I'll be using the old 3D-kits conversion set to turn one of my Aldi Special Airfix mk.I's into a Mk.II LR. Here''s the sprues. Should be a fun little project. When is this GB supposed to start? Cheers!

Welcome to this Anniversary GB, 90 years of Spitfires.

It's nice to see Airfix's range of Spitfires getting some love in the GB - I do say they make some of the nicest.
