    Joe's Academy 1/72 F-16C Thunderbirds

I suspect I used to lather a thick coat of white on, so never noticed - that and being less critical of course. It should stand out when the decals go on.

Neil's Tamiya 1/72 P47-D Thunderbolt (Geoffers US Icons GB)

Build thread is here - many thanks to Geoffers for the most appropriate build for the 250th Anniversary and across July 4th. Better late than never for the completed pics. An absolutely top-notch kit; it goes together like a charm with a good fit and nice decals. I would happily make this again.

    Pauls Mig-15 Eduard 1/72

Well, here's hoping it ends up 4-2 then. I've liked Eduard - now Revell .... no joy there yet.

    Neil's Eduard 1/48 Mig-21 PF

That's what I figured too. A ghost pilot, though, is more of an issue in-flight. I love the shape - Mig 21, Phantom and Lightning. Just the best.

    Joe's Trumpeter 1/72 Mig-29C Fulcrum

Nice, good choice. I've had a few battered boxes without the actual kit being damaged, which is all that matters.

    Blooming Migs Blooming Build Rules

If it's a Mig, it's in. So yes, I guess a conversion is just fine.

    Neil's Eduard 1/48 Mig-21 PF

Well, I found it is the wrong model of mig-21 - MF/Bis/SMT - but then will it really matter? I can find plenty of seats, but just this one with the pilot, however, still googling.

    Neil's Eduard 1/48 Mig-21 PF

Mine is going to be this, already decided it is in North Vietnam colours and in flight. I need to order the pilot and seat (already got my eye on that).

    Blooming Migs Blooming Build Rules

I admire your dedication to the cause of all things Mig!, Comrade. Hero of the Soviet Union medal will surely be awarded any day now.

    Papa695s Hasegawa 1/72 F-111 Aardvark

Looking good, you can see the mottling effect on the tan colour.

    The 1/72 WW2 Shelf

Exactly, the Hellcat looks OK like this but up close, the decals are skewed and other problems.

    Italeri Fairchild Thunderbolt A-10C ‘Blacksnakes'

I've been looking at this again now that the P47 is complete, and the two-tone grey really does not show up at all well painted with Mr Color AirColor light and dark ghost grey - and I'm tempted to prime it again with black. Has anyone had any experience of using two-tone greys and not getting a...

    Papa695s Hasegawa 1/72 F-111 Aardvark

As Joe says, the mottling should give a good effect when complete.

    Steve's Hasegawa 1/72 AH-64A Apache Attack Helicopter

Anticipating the real colours now. Good work so far.

    The 1/72 WW2 Shelf

A rogues gallery! Eduard F5F Hellcat, Tamiya P47 Thunderbolt, Eduard Spitfire and Airfix Typhoon. Definite improvements from the Hellcat (first one I did) to the P47. The number plate is from my last car in Massachusetts - 305 WWG - it handily fell off in the car wash before I left in 2000.

Neils Tamiya 1/72 Republic P47D Thunderbolt ‘Razorback'

Calling this done. I am not doing any weathering on this. I will make a proper close thread when I have better pics so these are just the quick ones.

I have a stand that is big enough for the A10 to sit on - not quite the clamping fleury models one, but last time that was back in stock, a few hours later it wasn't.
