    I think it will probably take me best part of a week to finish the second planking, i'm using CA for speed but a negative is my fingers are getting stuck together rather a lot.

    Started the second hull planking after a bit of research the average plank was 25 foot long so I'm doing 5" planks, going to take a while and I can't see you lot being that interested so progress won't be updated quite so often :)

    I managed to finish the bow, it was a pain to scratch and I'm angry I had to but it's done! I wonder how much more won't fit?

    This morning was a trial in scratch building something I have never done before and TBH something I don't enjoy (kits should fit together) but hey we all can't be a wizard :)

    Jim, what really pi**es me off it the fact the kit was almost £800, I would have thought more care would be taken designing it. After all someone in the design team must have built the ship? Getting there :)

    The gallery at the stern went together ok but having real problems at the bow the parts just don't fit. going to have to scratch build or modify the second part. It looks like it fits but not a chance :(
