    Aston Martin Ulster.... 1/32 Matchbox

Now that is a brilliant and concise answer. Thank you, That ties in with what I thought, but with so much more detail. So Paul's Aston Martin, might have been a customer's car, hence red.

    Worst /best kit you’ve built.

Worst, I'm with @PaulTRose on this one, the Airfix 1:72 DH Comet. it was more a collection of plastic blobs. Best, Tamiya 1:32 Corsair, that was a 50th birthday present.

    Off to a heart specialist!

Good luck with everything John. So for now, no laying any patio's or errrm, ironing ?

    Very puzzled and annoyed

So you've done nothing different and this happened. Right, 'when life gives you lemons, make lemonade' time to build a write off, a total wreck.

MiG 17 Fresco..... 'Bloomin MiGs everywhere GB'

Nice job Paul, and nice to see markings I'm not familiar with. Regards the weight issue, I built a Gannet which really, really wanted to be a tail sitter. I ended up putting weight in the leading edges of the wings ! To this day, I'm amazed the landing gear hasn't buckled.

Geoffs Airfix 1/48 F-86f Sabre build ( Geoffs U.S. Icons Group Build)

Great finish Geoff. I really like the look of this, I think it's the swept wings that do it. I see it's flown by a pilot called 'Stallings', let's hope not.

Nick's Airfix 1/48 Spitfire MkXIV for Colin's 90th Anniversary of the Spit GB

That Nick, was well worth the wait. A top job for sure, well done. I would be really happy if I produced a build of that quality.

    Aston Martin Ulster.... 1/32 Matchbox

Ah now then you might know the answer to this little one. Somewhere in the dark distant part of my memory, I think I read that different nationalities used different colours to help easily identify their cars during racing. The French were blue, Germans were white, changing to silver, Italians...

    We found a classic.

Well anyway, I'll see what I can do about the valves. Maybe they can be sat in a packet, on a work bench waiting to be fitted ? Good lord, this diorama building is truely a rabbit hole.

    Aston Martin Ulster.... 1/32 Matchbox

I love an old Matchbox kit. Some time ago I built a Matchbox Mercedes Benz SSKL, it was a great little kit, as I'm sure this one will be.

Too late for Waxoyl ! Tyre valves, I'm not even sure it will have tyres Dave.

Nice progress Paul. Did this ever happen in real life, or a product of your very own imagination ?

    We found a classic.

This is my attempt at building something in the style of our old friend Ron. Right, this is certainly no easy task for me. But, as we all know, Ron could knock up a dio, out of any bits and pieces he had lying around. So that's what I'm going to attempt. I haven't bought anything extra for...
