    I’ve made a start on the car, well nearly finished it really. It’s basically the shell, all the suspension etc is going to be displayed off the car, removed years ago, when someone started its restoration, but never got around to finishing.

    I’d like to say I’ve made a start. But actually, I got carried away and forgot to post my progress. So, I started with the wall, which is now the side wall of a garage, joined onto a house. This was the mk 1, I decided it was too flat. Then I made some bricks, I mean an old car on bricks...

    Now that is a brilliant and concise answer. Thank you, That ties in with what I thought, but with so much more detail. So Paul's Aston Martin, might have been a customer's car, hence red.

    Worst, I'm with @PaulTRose on this one, the Airfix 1:72 DH Comet. it was more a collection of plastic blobs. Best, Tamiya 1:32 Corsair, that was a 50th birthday present.
