Clean or not clean?
just out of curiosity do you clean your sprues before painting or just crack on with it. -
Help with camo mask
I'm a bit confused with this camo mask I bought, the sides look ok, light colour down first then dark colour on top, but if I'm looking at it right the top of the wings show the mask being put on top of the dark colour- John

Southport Airshow weekend
It started tonight, I got a lot of pcitures, Started off with BBMF which was good to see but only Lancaster and Spitfire, I nearly missed the Typhoon coming in it was that fast, but very loud, set a lot of car alarms off, light was failing and it was going too fast to get some good pictures... -
1/16 Peterbilt 359 Conventional Revell
I thought I would have a go at one of these, there seems to be quite a bit of plastic :) I know white is probably the worse colour to spray so I don't know if to just varnish the already white plastic or go for a different colour. I forgot to take sprue shots before starting it, but I haven't...- John

1/25 76 Ford Torino Revell
I got some of these in the other day so I thought I would give it a go, the plastic is already coloured but I will have to paint it, albeit the same colours as they already are. It's not going to be a complex build- John

Creating glass look

Paint pits
I've started the Italeri Transit van which is white, I've primed it with a white primer and I wanted part of it to be white, I couldn't see if it was covering right and I've put a little bit too much on and it's pitted, I don't want to remove it and start again, can I sand it before putting...- John

AK Interactive 1/48 Spitfire Mk IX.C

Spray varnish
I don't like using varnish in my airbrush because I can never tell when it's clean, I have some Vallejo aerosols of varnish but I've had them about 3 years, would they still be ok to use? If not has anyone tried the Mr Hobby UV clear sprays? are they ok to use on top of AK acrylic paints... -
How to cut a circle?
