I got a gold for my effort with Bombs Away. The Belvedere got a bronze. I had to go up on stage a few times for the accompanying awards for favourite by Korean and Taiwan build groups. Group shot with judges... Together with club members who won... Will post the jaw dropping displays after...- rtfoe

Thanks Lee, will do. Paul, the GI shared a portion of his bread thinking he wouldn't be bothered but these French pigeons are civilised so they were quite orderly. Today was spent composing the flock... The pigeons haven't eaten their laxatives yet but are already like women at a sale. Still...- rtfoe

Hi Guys, Slowly detailing and painting...spent today painting the stuff on the bench. If you compare the previous photos you will notice some new touch ups on the base, fence wall and rubble. Basically getting the direction of the light from the left. Cheers, Wabble- rtfoe

Thanks Graeme, still adding bits by bit layering upon layering of paint. As it is this is how the base stands now... Will tone down the moss and later paint over with highlights of the base color. The rubble is still in zenithal effect and yet to be painted. Meanwhile I worked on the lamp...- rtfoe

Nope, they'll be seen usually in a mob frenzy like women at a sale at the foot of his feet. He probably spread bread crumbs before dozing off. Slowly layers are painted in in this group... Hi Guys, I've smoothen out the highlights and shadows and gotten the shade right. Also I've given him a five o'clock shadow. The bench work was worked on and the radio equipment received some paint. Touch ups and chipping will be done later after I have painted the other parts of the bench...- rtfoe

Hi Guys, I've started painting the figure... First pass of painting figure. The gloss from the black ink doesn't help with the photo. I have to blend the highlights and shadows in the next step. A coat of flat varnish will make it pop. Cheers, Wabble- rtfoe

Hi, Made some little improvements to the radio pack by adding a phone handle receiver...can't remember what it's called heh heh. Found it in my spares box. I used lead wire for the wire. Cheers, Wabble- rtfoe

Rest my eyes a little and gave his Grand rifle a sling made from thick metal foil and wire. He'll lean his weapon on the side of the bench. Cheers, Wabble- rtfoe

Hi guys, Did the first pass on the base today with paint and caulking. I also primed the bench and lamp post and did some zinathel highlights. Will need detailing the base with grime, moss and rust stains. Also thinking of a bit of rubble on the side and discarded refuse paper and bottles...- rtfoe
