Very neat work Andy. What are you going to do with the second door?

    HST paint job

I would mask the windows Andy. If that is an old model like Triang Hornby then the plastic may have gone brittle. An interesting project but its in the right hands. Good luck.

    What a sh*t Week

This is easy for me to say John but try not to panic. I know several people who have prostate cancer. Some have had treatment, surgery etc and others have not had treatment and are just being monitored. Hopefully you have caught yours early enough and will have options for treatment. This...

    Steve's Revell 1/48 Mosquito B Mk.IV

It's not bad Geoff, just a shame it will be closed in.

    Steve's Revell 1/48 Mosquito B Mk.IV

I quite like the look of this design of stripes rather than a full fuzz wrap around.

    Steve's Revell 1/48 Mosquito B Mk.IV

So I have been doing some research on my Mossi DK 292. It would appear that it was involved in a fatal crash on 26th November 1944 at Vassonville on a beach north of Le Havre, Seine-Maritime, Normandy. In view of this I have every reason to believe that it was probably marked up with D Day...

    Steve's Revell 1/48 Mosquito B Mk.IV

They are a real problem. I generally tape a small piece of folded cardboard over the tube and hope for the best. Yes I will have things on standby Joe just in case.

    Steve's Revell 1/48 Mosquito B Mk.IV

I am taking bets on whether or not I will be able to complete the build without breaking the pitot tube off the tail fin. :):):):)

Spitfire propeller. Wood or Metal construction.

So I have just learnt something today. The later Mk Spitfires had propellers made from wood. So before you go diving in with some weathered metal chipping on the blades its probably worth checking first to see what material your Spits blades were made from.

Here you go Joe. Just a couple of pictures to give you some idea of size.

Amy Johnsons de Havilland dh60g Gipsy Moth 1/72 completed

I followed this one from the beginning Tony and saw the extra work and detail that you put into it. A great result on a model that we don't see that often Great work.

    Steve's Revell 1/48 Mosquito B Mk.IV

I must admit I thought it would be bigger than it is Joe. I will put up a photo of the fuzz next to the statutory paint pot so you can get some idea of actual size.

    Steve's Revell 1/48 Mosquito B Mk.IV

Next up for me is this offering from Revell. Never done a Mosquito before so looking forward to this one. Ill be doing mine in the markings of 105 Squadron based at Horsham in June 1942. There are five sets of sprues but here are just a couple as an example. And finally the decal sheet
