    Decided that getting some paint on the hull was a good move so its got a coat of mr hobby black , when thats dried i will mask off the bottom from the waterline and paint the orange.

    Today i enjoyed my time deck masking:tired: great fun! A few touch ups here and there to do but the lower rear deck(on the left)can now be fitted which means i can now get on with building up the rest.

    So today's efforts. Got some colour on the decks, and colour on all the masts/hoists.some railings fitted at the back and started building the bridge which is pain as theres so many little bits ,some are clear parts. Another quick on the inside ,not that it will be seen.

    A little bit more progress, painted the yellow sections on the front of the wings and made a start with the decals, the decals are quite nice to work with, 10 seconds in the water and there good to go.

    Well the mojo has been lacking just recently but ive managed to muster up the enthusiasm to get this in colour and clearcoated, with a bit more success than last time thankfully.

    So after the big paint cockup and it nearly getting binned i have set about it with some of this Its making a great job of it,especially as its had to work its way through 2 acrylic clearcoats,2 coats of laquer green,2 coats of laquer silver and a coat of tamiya rattle can primer.     Had a coat of mr color sm 201 silver, after having a go with the chipping fluid on the cowling and not being particularly happy with it ive decided to go with the masking fluid chipping method, the results are much more predictable.

    Making some decent progress today, fusalge has now been filled and sanded so the cockpit will be going in and the wings glued in place, the engines put together, will maybe give it a dry brush of silver.
