So as far as the missing light , nowhere to be found. I have stolen one from another kit,the oversize one i was going to use will be used in the other kit as i can glue it in place and shape it up before any paintwork has been done. Managed not to lose these ones though,two in each wing. So...- Mark1

A bit more done, very nearly past the post now. It now got all its wheels attached also the tank and cowling are in place,the centre part of the canopy to go. As for the lights the blue one is fitted no problems but as for the other side...ping across the room :tired: i see what direction it...- Mark1

Just a little bit more done,lights have been drilled out and the appropriate colour paint put in the holes and had to paint the red prop stripes due to messing up the decals :rolling:- Mark1

Managed to somehow break off a locator on one of the wheel struts,drilled and replaced with brass tube thatll ill file to the right length when the glues dry. Most of the weathering has been done underneath and started on top, a few more finishing touches here and there ,will look better once...- Mark1

A little bit more done here, landing gear and tank oil washed and sponge chipped with vallejo aluminium after a bit of vallejo cement grey was used to add a bit of variation and tones over the main colour . Finished with mr hobby flat clear.- Mark1

The flappy bits are now fitted, a different shade to the rest as that seemed to be the case in quite a few pictures ive seen. The top of the fusalge/ cockpit section painted in what mr colour calls cowling colour and the engine cowling is painted also in......yep cowling colour!.a few small...- Mark1

Ok so this build stalled for a while but now the mojos back so ill try and pick up where i left off. These were the last bits that still needed paint removing, ive drilled a small hole in the end of each part and inserted brass rod as a means of holding them for painting.landing gear is painted...- Mark1

Bout time i made the final push to get this finished, rigging has been done and ive had a go at adding some insulators to it using pva mixed with vallejo black paint, dont look to bad for a first go, just the flag to go now :smiling3:- Mark1

So ive now got the the safety net on, as for poking out all the holes that have got paint in, hmmm, maybe i will. Two helis have got colour on so next is to have about nine attempts at painting there windows before before going sod it ! That'll have to do lol.started painting the lifeboats , not...- Mark1
