    'appy birfday Ron!

Oh dear, with all my injury and health problems and my own hiatus the old salad dodger had slipped my mind. I pray all is well with him, he certainly is missed.:( Jim.

    Deuce and a Half- Track

Thanks Joe, I've always dreamed of making my own real halftrack conversion, I even started making plans some years back but life had it's own priorities. So dream on as they say :sneaky: Jim.

What to do with completed models?

I guess a disclaimer seems ok as long as the buyer has a minimum of modeling skill to make minor repairs. I am an armor modeler and know right off the bat that externally mounted machine guns, aerials and such wont survive the trip. Maybe they can be included unmounted with instructions for...

    Voroshalovitz tractor

This is just one of the many Soviet artillery tractors of WWII, field expedience demanded yet even more mobile infantry support weapons. Unencombered by a trailing gun carriage mobility in deep mud and heavy snows was greatly improved. Jim

What to do with completed models?

I don't know, maybe I'll look about a bit, I do know I remember seeing some finished kits on line when looking for some or other unbuilt kits probably on E BAY. I remember the prices where outragous especially since......well I am not one to ever critsize anyonelses work. As far as packing goes...

    War Pigs

Thanks guys, sometimes certain things do inspire me but sometimes not in a good way. I find that expressing my feelings through my modeling may hopefully inspire others to take on difficult subjects and not worry so much about public opinion. After all whether we like it or not war no matter how...

What to do with completed models?

I've often thought of that myself but as you say packing would be a royal pain much less hawking them on line. Besides I certainly don't need the money.

What to do with completed models?

The trouble is that they accumulate over the years and can't possibly be displayed in their entirety without creating a museum in a totally dedicated room. We have two spare bedrooms and I once suggested such a scenario for one of them, let's just say I never did again :( I'm lucky to be able...

What to do with completed models?

I still have most of them though many are in cold storage (attic) some are on display in our family room which is just a second parlor though with a more manly motiff. My fish mounts and such, my own TV and stereo system and most importantly CAT FREE!!😿 Jim.

    The Savage Ost Front

Four pics got repeated, I must have screwed up somewhere:mad: Thanks Peter, I am very unhappy with current set of pics, not to mention repeats. Will try to put some more up on this thread, on my original thread from a few years back pics were much better but they cannot be viewed full size...

    The Savage Ost Front

Tank is BT5 with the revolutionary Christie suspension system. Thinly armored and under gunned it was no match for the German Panzers.

    No Quarter

Thanks guys, I love doing wrecks such as this, it gives one so much room to play and NOT work out of the box. Highly technical reproductions as some special modelers can produce are indeed facanating to me and beyond my scope. But after all someone's got to swing the wrecking ball and the Grim...
