How much flash........?
I started to build the Bristol Blenheim IV tonight. It's from the Victoria Cross Icons kit from Airfix. The other 3 planes in this set weren't too bad but this one has so much flash they could have got another model out of it. Never mind it will keep me out of trouble for a while sanding and... -

The carpet monster got me!!!!
Last night I was putting the last few parts on my 1/76 Opel Blitz which is my 1st attempt at a vehicle when the headlight I was about to put in place popped out of the tweezers and went on the floor. After 20 minutes on my hands & knees with a small torch I can only presume the carpet monster... -

Washing the kit
I have seen on various videos modellers washing the kit before building. I was wondering if this is nessecary. If it does enhance the finish then I may start doing this. Does anyone here wash the kit?:confused: -

I know some of you guys have huge stashes just waiting to be built, well my stash has just the reached the heady hieghts of....3. I have a Bristol Blenheim Mk 1v 1/72, an Opel Blitz & pak 40 gun 1/72, & just waiting for a German Kubelwagen type 82 1/35. Will be posting pics as they get built. :) -

Why so many........

Whats the right order
I am close to completing 2 aircraft but a bit confused with what order to do things. When the model is made and painted do I weather then gloss varnish, decal, and finally matt varnish. Never weathered before so I am going to have a bash. Thanks guys.:confused::confused::confused:- Peej

Working out scales
I have been looking on line for military figures to have a go at between aircraft models. I use to do a bit of citadel painting years ago. The figures I have been looking at are 1/35, I was wondering how tall these little chaps would actually be. Thanks in advance Paul- Peej

Canopy painting???
A few of you guys have looked at my models on anther post & the comments I have received have been very encouraging. The main problem I am having is painting the canopies. If they need to be black I find it easier to use fine tip sharpie marker. It's when they need to be a different colour is...- Peej
