I don't keep any spreadsheets or lists. I do however keep a diary of every build. Each day I work on a particular model I note what I've done. I include any research etc. -

Which airbrush would you buy?
I always mix paint in a small plastic shot glass. Dead cheap from that well known auction site. This enables me to adjust the dilution much more easily than doing it in the airbrush cup. -

Compressor leak.
At the end of an airbrushing session I turn off the compressor and always release the pressure by unscrewing the drain plug in the bottom of the tank. I then leave the plug out until the next time I use it. By removing the drain plug water is blown out and by leaving the plug out any moisture... -

Which airbrush would you buy?
Sounds good. I have a pistol grip Gaahleri which gets used for primers etc with the 0.3 needle/nozzle. As you say not top end but pretty decent and perfectly good for 99% of modellers. Some airbrushes allow different nozzles to be fitted with the appropriate needle. I reckon you will use the 0.3... -

The H&S Ultra airbrush included in the bundle has a 0.45 needle/nozzle. That will cover large areas, primer for example, it will not work for any sort of details. The best compromise in terms of coverage and detail work is a 0.3 nozzle. The compressor looks good. Consider one of the Sparmax... -
