The roof has now been painted a light grey to simulate the faded dull effect of aged galvanized steel. I then added marks where the bolts would be and a lot of rusty streaks and marks. Tamiya nissan leopard
Interesting 80s nissan kaci , at first I thought it was the japanese domestic version of the nissan sunny coupe but its a different thing . Not something we ever got over here . Great paint colour and finish .- yak face

Airfix 1/72 Hawker Hurricane Mk.1

Always liked the Airfix Hampden , never got round to getting one though . I intended to do it in Soviet markings . This has turned out great Ed , good to hear that it built well too , cheers tony- yak face

Hopefully the CA will get a grip , the only way I could get the plastic ones to stick is with Copydex or something similar but its a bit too messy , I’ll try the paper ones first .- yak face

As promised the tractor has had a dusting to dull the shine a bit . One of Rons favourite methods for this was using Polyfilla powder but in the absence of this I used tile grout ( even more apt as he ran a tile shop before he retired ) To make it stick I misted it over with hairspray then...- yak face

Actually mcdonalds have just started using a bigger diameter paper straw ( i know this cause I had a frappe only last week ! ) so theyre no good but a trip to Wetherspoons might be in order , I think theirs are thinner . Plus any excuse to go to ‘Spoons is a winner (y) (y) 🍻- yak face

Good spot Joe , I was intending to use the plastic straw but found nothing sticks to it , superglue just doesnt work and pva either . Looks like I’m on the hunt for a paper straw - the only good use for one !- yak face

All the boards are now fitted , a few have been left off and a couple broken to give the derelict look . I cut fourteen of the roof sheets from the corrugated cardboard to a scale 8x 3 then peeled the back off the first couple of corrugations so they can be overlapped . They have now been...- yak face

Very puzzled and annoyed
Maybe the manufacturer used a different type of styrene this time -
Hasegawa mitsubishi lancer Evo VI
Beautiful job kaci , i do like a lancer , getting rarer these days . I used to work with a guy who had a tuned evo IV and he said it would spin all four wheels in third gear ! He sold it cause it frightened him to death ! 😆- yak face
