    Rick’s 1/72 Airfix Junkers Ju52 - a rite of passage build

Nice start Rick. It looks a bit more refined compared to the old kit.

    Joe's Trumpeter 1/72 Mig-29C Fulcrum

Then I assembled the supplied towing bar (so many parts!), and made up an orange colour using left over yellow from the Hurricane spinner, adding some red. It's probably more of a reddish orange in the end, but I like the shade so it stays that way.

    Joe's Trumpeter 1/72 Mig-29C Fulcrum

Minor work on the MiG today. I sprayed the tyres in Tyre Black, then turned my attention to the missiles in white. I painted the gun port panel in gun metal. The camouflage paint is probably a bit dark in this photo, but closer to the colour than in my previous post.

    Airfix 1/72 Hawker Hurricane Mk.1

I masked the landing gear wells off with the wheels-up parts sealed with some masking putty. Then applied reverse colours, so I can later apply the black final coat on the white base, and vice-versa, making sure to remember the gear doors which I usually forget. Good use of the left over paint...

    Joe's Trumpeter 1/72 Mig-29C Fulcrum

Cheers Steve. The photos have lightened the paint effect a little. I have a Trumpeter Su27 that I might build soon, if it's anything like this it should be good fun. Cheers Tony. Can't really go wrong with the pre-war Ukrainian MiG-29s, even then they look to have been very random with their...

    Brian's Sovereign of the seas

I was fearing that you would lose all that lovely pear wood effect Brian, but the white on the hull enhances the rest of it. And it's historically accurate too.

    Toyota Pro box

That's looking good Kaci. The depth in the orange metallic is impressive.

    Tamiya 1/35 Comet cruiser tank

Very nicely done Barry. What's next on the bench?

    1/12 1966 Ford GT 40

Wheels and tyres are all looking superb Stefan. So much detail, even if it won'y be seen, you will know that you have done a comprehensive build. Enjoy your Mediterranean cruise. My missus was in that region earlier this year and loved it, especially Pompeii.

Chris' F-Toys 1/144 MiG-21F Conversion (Neil's Blooming MiGs Everywhere GB)

I would lose those parts within seconds Chris!

    Joe's Trumpeter 1/72 Mig-29C Fulcrum

I made up my batch of the green-grey colour. I didn't have the exact green but I mixed it to be close enough for me using approximately 80% IJA Green and 20% JSDF Grey. I managed to preserve the patchiness of the look I wanted. I aimed for a mixture of softish and hard edges to the camouflage...

    Forgotten Fergie

Simply brilliant Tony. Excellent use of materials. It's all coming together very nicely. Did you have to take one for the team and drink or eat yourself into a coma to get the straw?

    Papa695s 1/600 HMS Ark Royal

Ron's seascapes were always a pleasure to see. Look forward to seeing your Ark Royal build up Ian. The White Ensign PE looks comprehensive.
