    Pete's Humbrol Tempest

Well, I couldn't get any plasticard to fit in the wing roots but a few doses of PPP seems to have sorted that gap. I also got the canopy fitted and masked with Bare Metal Foil as it's very thin and flexible so it's easy to follow the canopy lines with a scalpel. The fuselage seams cleaned up...

Lovely car. I had a 1965 MGB Roadster in 1977 - 79. Great fun to drive but mine was burning oil and full of rust. I was then without a sports car until 1983 when I bought my TR4A as a restoration project. Pete

Nuther noob air brush question (2)....

I just searched on evilbay for airbrush spray booth filters and bought a pack of 10 from China for a couple of quid. As Tim said though, you can extend the life of the filter just by washing it, although I wouldn't dare use the washing machine, even if I knew how! Pete

    Which airbrush would you buy?

Just water with a drop of washing up liquid. When I bought my u/sonic I also bought some "Jewellery Brightener" which did a good job on my wife's ring (stop sniggering at the back) but stripped the finish off my watch bracelet, so I wouldn't use it for my airbrush. Pete
