1/16 figure - Air Transport Auxiliary pilot

That looks great Tony. It's fine as it is but it's a good idea to see if you can improve with the second one, learning from the first

    Neil's 1-35 Liberty Ship Diorama

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. I decided to do a final check of all the figures before putting them behind me and moving on, and I did find a few paint touch-ups here and there, which were easily dealt with. But I realised I had not made blanket rolls for many of the earlier figures...

1/16 figure - Air Transport Auxiliary pilot

Hi Tony looking good, but looks like you've chosen RAF grey for the uniform..? Apologies if I'm commenting out of turn, but the ATA uniform was very dark navy with a white shirt and black tie. But at the end of the day it's your figure so you can paint it pink if you choose!

    Brian's Caldercraft 1/72 HMS Victory

Blimey! How many metres do you have to do? It's looking totally fantastic, Brian. I was thinking when you started the seizing that it must get easier with practice, glad you're persevering , it's all very informative(and scary)

    Water washable resin

I always cure mine for the maximum 30 mins, sometimes more if I think it needs it. I find the ABS-Like resin also needs a bit longer after curing to finally go rigid. I'd still like to find a resin that isn't so prone to warping, although I haven't actually bothered investigating it ....

    Neil's 1-35 Liberty Ship Diorama

I’ve finally got back to the bench and finished GI no 6 for this batch, the radio operator. Here he is in his un-primed state; I had to think of a way to show off the nice Hornet head As I mentioned in the Iwo Jima thread, I created the radio in CAD and 3D printed it These guys also carried...

Sorry to hear that, John, it's something we of a certain age must all be aware of. Fingers crossed it's not too far advanced. Good luck N

    Water washable resin

Andy, I can heartily recommend the Elegoo Mars, although I have a much earlier version. I've never tried the water washable resin so I can't advise I'm afraid. I think probably the only benefit is that you don't have to buy IPA for cleaning.
