What type of tank is this?
Hello fellow modelers I found this picture to be interesting and was thinking of making a little dio of the scene for an upcoming build but cannot for the life of me figure out what type of tank this is?? I guess I’ve never seen any other photos of a German tank with a rear mounted fuel drum... -

Finally had a chance to install the tracks and oh boy did they test my patience i’ve added some additional pigments and streaking as well as had a chance to paint some figures that will company the tiger. I do have to say that the wheels were very problematic in assembly and then painting as well. The plastic was very soft and would not take even primer at first… Perhaps it was the age of the kit and technology at that time for injected plastic.- Strenko J

Thanks Richard.. So time for a few updates on the komsomolets..first pass at weathering .,,washes and some battle damage to the front fender..rusting away..and the first figure painted. Next some pigments and more mud to be added.- Strenko J

Some weathering of the Gaz using pigments, acrylic mud, washes,,, and I will.next be moving onto the whitewash of the komsomolets. A few little details added to the seat as well. Although not sure that they’ll easily be seen once the cab is in place,,,. Oh well.. still had fun adding them.- Strenko J
