Worst /best kit you’ve built.
Interesting Barry. I built mine as part of a group build on here, and at least one other member had similar issues. Details here….it was mostly poor fit of the body and tail. Machine looks good. Steel and Nickle Silver always takes blackening solutions well. As to brass, it’s probably coated in photoresist from the etching process. Glad to hear that John. Stress can cause a lot of problems. I know you are having a really hard time at the moment, but try to chill as much as you can because it will help. What were they made of Brian? If iron I would expect them to be blacked for protection from the sea. Can’t see them being polished brass if I’m honest. Apart from anything else, they would be really hard to access for polishing.- Tim Marlow

Looks like an interesting oldie Paul. I do wish someone would make modern mouldings of the iconic sit up and beg era cars though. It would make a nice change from the interminable range of jelly mould racers that dominate car kits at the moment.- Tim Marlow
