    Bird Watching a Relaxing Hobby

Thanks for that response Tim. I had no idea on the difference between the male and female. Last time I saw one of these the cat had got it. Now we are sans cat so I guess it's a bit safer. Nick

Nick's Airfix 1/48 Spitfire Mk XIV.

Moved things forward a little bit on this one. I used a couple of bits of runner to try and push out the edges of the panel in front of the cockpit so it fits a bit better.... Then got the lower wing fitted... After that was nicely cemented I got the top wing halves in place. Bit of...

    Bird Watching a Relaxing Hobby

Got home from work on Friday to find my wife talking to this little fella who appeared to be quite happily having a little rest on the edge of our patio steps. I believe its a Goldcrest - tiny little thing. Nick

Nick's Airfix 1/48 Spitfire Mk XIV.

Thanks Gents. Yes Colin, fuselage halves glued together nicely although there's still that tricky panel in front of the cockpit to sort out.... More next week I hope. Nick

    Workbench, show us yours

Always nice to see other people's setups. Can't remember what or how much has changed with mine since the last iteration of this type of thread. I have to split my work between the smallest bedroom for most activity and transporting stuff for airbrushing down the garden to my workshop. The...

Nick's Airfix 1/48 Spitfire Mk XIV.

Made a little progress on some of the smaller and internal parts. Just about ready to start getting the airframe together. All pretty smooth so far: Thanks for looking in..... Nick

Nick's Mini Art Tempo E400 for Geoffers Logistics Group Build

Well, its been completed a couple of weeks outside the Group Build window, but here is my Mini Art Tempo E400. A rather quirky three-wheeled delivery truck that I have completed in the livery of Bahlsen's biscuits. I've visited Hanover a few times but have yet to seek out the Bahlsen factory...

    Nick's Mini Art 1/35 Tempo E400

Finally summoned the enthusiasm to finish this one off. I have to say that the mojo suffered somewhat during this build. Not sure if it was the sheer fiddliness of it or something else, but it became something of an ordeal. Anyway, here are a couple of final assembly pics: Next post will...

    What a sh*t Week

    Carpet

I saw a video online where a guy used that fabric elastoplast cut to size and painted. It looked really effective. Nick

    Yamaha YZF-R1 1999

That looks really great George. I concur with your list of bits and bobs to a large degree although I have been getting some really good results lately with AK Super Chrome. I love the colour matched Zero paints too although I did have to start again once after rushing on the top coat a little...

    Nick's Mini Art 1/35 Tempo E400

Thanks for the kind comments Gents. The finish line is in sight although it may not quite make it within the deadline..... Nick

    Steven’s 1/48 Spitfire Mk.IIa

Looks like I just managed to get caught up with this before you've completed it. Fantastic work on the pilot, well done. Nick
