Help with Eduard parts
Hi everyone - any tips, please, as to how to detach these parts from their base? I've tried twisting or snapping them off, and have tried a modelling knife only to give up for now as it's hard plastic. Any ideas?- Egghead

Should I use Tamiya rattle cans to paint camo on my Mosquito?
Hi everyone - like so many of you, I'm just getting back into the hobby after over fifty years. I had a quick warm-up with 1:72 Airfix Spitfire, but now I'm working on the Tamiya 1:48 Mosquito FB MkVI. If I was certain I was going to build further models after this, I'd spring for an airbrush... -

Tamiya paint/painting instructions
Hi everyone. Two questions: Do I need to thin my acrylic Tamiya paints, or just use them straight from the tin? Also, when the Tamiya model instructions say something like: "XF-7:5 + XF-9:1", what does it mean? I appreciate "XF-7" and "XF-9" refer to the colours, but what does the :5 and :1...- Egghead

Advice on Tamiya spray cans needed.
