    1/12 1966 Ford GT 40

There's is nothing I don't love about this build. It's just spot on all over. It wasn't too long ago, I discovered one of my cars uses the same carburettor (4 barrel Holley) as the road going GT40. And that is as close I will ever get to owning one.

    Tidyed my work bench

Many times during a build I have to stop, and put everything away. Either at the bench or in the garage, same rules apply. Stop and tidy.

    Hi all back .

I can't pretend I know what you're going through. But I know you'll do your best.

    Italeri 1/72 Dassault Mirage 2000

Looks very tidy Joe. Desert colours always get my vote.

    21st century toys Macchi mc205 Veltro 1/32

Tony. 1:32. You'll never get it finished. The temptation to add more, then a bit more detail will be never ending. I think for your own sake, and sanity, we need to set clear boundaries here. Having said that, the pilot looks amazing.

    Geoff’s Tamiya 1/48 Bristol Beaufighter Mk.VI

Great work Geoff. It's an aircraft I've always liked the look of, but haven't built since I was a kid.

    Airfix 1/72 Hawker Hurricane Mk.1

Top job Joe and well presented.

    Airfix 1/72 Scooter

A nice finish, and I totally know what you mean about the simplicity of a little 1:72 build. Good for the soul.

    Pete's Humbrol Tempest

That came out very well for such an old kit. Great job. Is it my screen, or could the landing gear have port and stbd mixed up ? I just noticed the legs are leaning backwards, which is a bit unusual.

    Airfix 1/48 Hawker Hunter FGR.9

Nice job. I like the flying pose. I need to try a bit more of this.

That looks spot on. A top job indeed.

    We found a classic

Cheers Tony, that was quite a satisfying part of the build. It meant I could search the web for real 'barn find' cars. Some of them got me thinking about what to do when I retire !

    We found a classic

Cheers Jim. That did happen with a non modeler friend, and his wife. Thanks Joe. Plain old Polyfilla, with the detail added whilst it was still wet. I joke about the cost of Escorts these days. The below was mine, many years ago, sold before the prices went up like a rocket.

3 Pt Review - Compressor - Airbrush - Spray Booth

Nice review Peter. I've got a very early version of your compressor, it's old now and runs a bit more than yours probably does. However, if it fails tomorrow, it's done well. I won't be too upset.

It's finished. The completed pic's are in the relavent section.

    We found a classic

The finished build, hopefully something close to the style of one of Ron's pieces. The scene is a garden, that has seen better times, where, many years ago, someone started to dismantle a Mk1 Ford Escort Mexico. But like so many restorations, life got in the way and it was never completed. So...

    Bogged down Boris

Great work Andy, and the story is very well depicted. That pair won't be on the dinner run again.

    Forgotten Fergie completed pics

Never mind the nest - I can hear an owl. A brilliant job, the night time pics are very 'moody' there's a better word, but it escapes me just now. A proper tribute to Ron. He would have loved this, especially with the amount of scratch building you've put into this.

    Pete's Vulcan

A good choice Pete. I built this kit about 5 years ago, and don't remember any problems with the kit. Although painting the thing was fun !
