Jakko - thanks for the tip on the translator app. I have a book on T34's in Israel, written by a Russian living in Israel. Purchased the last copy direct from the author - he only had a Russian version left so this will be a big help my purchasing borders on the insane so I only tend to post... -

Karl, Si, Jim, Rick - you will be pleased to know that I decided to go with the red :thumb2: this is the current state of play it got a wash with starship grime, most of which was then wiped off using foam make up sponge sticks to leave it in recesses there is a definite reaction though...- SimonT

Andy - didn't know it was stynylrez by another name. UMP? John - those flip lids are useless for the user. Quite good for the seller as you waste most of the paint and have to buy another one. I agree, taking the top off is much less wasteful Friday night I sprayed the suit with Tamiya flat...- SimonT

sanded off a few more mould lines then did some test assembly with white tack to get it standing up once it was standing I marked the limbs in relation to their position on the body, removed the tack and CA'd them in place I then flooded the ball joints with liquid CA a few general shots...- SimonT

Steve, John, Paul, Joe, Jim - thank you all Not 100% Jim but looks the part and better than just sticking them to the hull. At least this way I got them on the 'rope' (actually super strong, none fluffy, nylon thread) so they could hang naturally finally got around to assembling the basic...- SimonT

Not much to show tonight - couldn't be bothered due to heat It is just too hot for me - just after midnight and still 26degC - anything above 20 and I just start to dissolve going by reference photos it was common practice to hang water bottles on the side of the hull the kit would have you...- SimonT

Still didn't like that tarp so off it came another one went on the front over the jerrycans added the rope around the front bumper added a length of chain and the ever present bucket to the rear - bucket pinched from a Tamiya half track helmet from the kit - chiselled out the insides and...- SimonT
