I recentley purchased the Italeri 1/12 Maclaren MP4/2C. This is a re-issue of the Protar kit, but has a few upgrades, i.e. better decals and some PE parts, but I found it to be one of the kits I've had to do the most cleaning up and improving of almost all the parts so far. Theres a lot of flash on everything and general fit needs honing to get a decent result. But its coming out OK despite that. I've used a lot of braided hose and connectors to improve the detail, and got some red ignition lead from Spotmodel.
The chassis is almost finished now , so its on to masking the body.
