discussion 1/12 SCALE RC RANGE SAFETY BOAT.

This is my latest edition in water craft.

I bought this off a club member, and I am so pleased I did.

She is a fibreglass hull and top, twin stainless steel shafts and brass screws, twin rudders and her design is as a pilot boat or in this case a range safety boat.

She has full working lights and working radar (it rotates).

Fully fitted cabin, all the rails are stainless steel.

She is a large craft and I said I would never buy another large and heavy boat again but, I saw her and just couldn't pass her up-especially as he only wanted £130!

I have a 6 channel transmitter and receiver on the way and some dean's connectors so I can make a charger and she is then ready to sail.

Yeah me two Paul, she should look superb at our night-sail, either that or it will go horribly wrong :smiling:

Not the best piccies but I managed to get some of the lights in action, the radar screen actually rotates, although that hasn't come out the best.

Cracking deal Jim, hopefully a sail soon, had an issue with the batteries but sorted that now.
