Been a shirt while since I have uad chance to do anything. I've now got everything on the enterprise apart from the nacell covers, I have another clear set to go on, all photoetch components on first final coat of paint done. I'll do another later, then it's on to the decals

Thread owner
And after the final coat and first lot of decals....

Thread owner
So why do these decals look salmon pink on the ship, compared to them looking grey on the backing sheet?

Thread owner
Well I tried to change the colour of the ship. The white just didn't work so a change to grey was on the cards, however the grey coat went on far too thick, it pooled, it cracked, it's now being stripped back to the model kit then I'll respray (now I have the kit to spray).

Can not believe the amount of work I'm having to do now because of one bad coat of paint!
