Hi mates!!!

News from my assembly-line: it's a Bf 109 G-14 in 1/32 scale from "21st Century Toys". And yes, this kit is more toy than model but it's o.k......so we are modellers, what we can get is also built!! ;)

The G-14 was a modified version of the G-6. The modification was a 50-MW installation (methanol-water injection) for short-term increase in output of the engine power.

Colours from Vallejo, Gunze and Revell.

Weathering: washing with diluted oil paint, use of various pastels.

The antenna wire is made of stretchable yarn called "rig that thing" from "Uschi van der Rosten".

Cheers

Stefan:)

Very nice, those 21st Century kits can be made into very convincing models.

Great build, love the panel line detail, especially considering its a toy model!

Excellent model Stefan.

I've made one of these and as Steve (stona) rightly points out, it is a very nice kit. No offence intended, but far from being a "Toy" it makes up into a very respectable model - as do all the 21st Century 1/32 aircraft. Pity they went bust......

....and, I'm sure Steve would agree. The pilot is probably one of the best around.

Cheers,

Ron

Excellent build and finish, really impressive paintwork Stefan, superb build.

Great build Stefan. The 20th Century models really look good considering the are a screw fit.
