Can any one help me out I have just received a 1\33 card kit of a B-17 kit and I want to change the kit wheels for some solid wheels and I just want to know what size I will be looking to find.

Boeing B-17G main landing gear specs:
Tyre outer diameter 56.56" (1,436 mm / 33 = 44 mm)
Rim diameter 27" (689 mm / 33 = 21 mm)
Rim width 20.44" (519 mm / 33 = 16 mm)

And as an added bonus, max structural weight per tyre was 17,500lbs...


1/33 is a monster size for a B-17! Good luck, look forward to seeing the completed beast.
