Hey, guys, first off a late Merry Christmas to you all!

Ok, so here's my next build. I'm building a very late war Hetzer and plan to give it a 'what-if?' paint job, but a plausible one.

Anyway, here are the pics.

I will be adding the 4 holed idler wheels instead. I messed up the original schurzen and as they were too thick anyway made some new ones from sheet plastic.

Still lots to do with this one, so please stay tuned for more in the new year! :)

Hope you had a good one Alex. Nice start on that kit, you've done a fair amount to improve it already.

Thanks, Joe! :) This build is certainly easier on the eyes than the tiny 1/72 King Tiger.

I built this kit and loved it. I hope you have fun too...part of the appeal to me was the camo pattern so i look forward to your scheme.

hi Alex ,nice start, i would like to see a 1.35 build from start , and see the little tricks and tips along the way before i start my one,

so will be following this one ,,

Thanks, Aaron. I remember your build with the small diorama - it was very cool and the figures turned out excellent! I'll be happy if I can achieve as good a finish as you did.

Nice build Alex, looking forward to seeing some war paint on her mate.

Excellent start Alex! This reference is really interesting...and I have a similar one on my stash...so I will be watching you ;)

Fantastic Alex...cant wait to see your paintjob. I stumbled upon your utube channel and i was allready subscribed.

I have the high speed tractor from hobby boss too. Great looking kit. A few e.p.m but no big problem.

The turret on the VK502 looks well awesome.

It's a good model, Roman. Everything fits together well and there are three different sets of the idler wheels which is nice. There are a few small details missing, but nothing that can't easily be sorted out. I'm no expert and I'm managing and enjoying the build so far :)

The tracks I haven't done yet and am not looking forward to them - tracks are not my strong point!

Hi Alex,

nice, really like the subtle pre-shade and a great choice of base coat.

Cheers Richi
