Finally finished, As I said in the build lots of firsts in this one. At first I thought I would just try a few scribed lines on the wings being that they are nice and flat and essentially straight lines, however once started I got carried away and did the whole lot with varied results as the line near the cockpit shows, although it doesn't look half as bad sitting on the shelf. The seat was one I had been given and as it was a lot better than the kit offering I used it I think it is a mk2 out of a Canberra. Also I tried making the jet pipe nozzles out of a paper cone and just snipping the edge all the way round and bending the bits inward just a touch and smearing the whole lot with pva.I also tarted up the wheel wells and u/c legs with bits of wire and made the vent shroud at the port rear out of a sliver of Q tip. The natural metal panels under the wings are bits of kitchen foil, my first attempt at foiling. And I have put this in the wrong place It should be in the pictures section.

Now that looks like a nice little build Barry even with lots of firsts in fact looks very good well done and heres to your next build

I'm also quite tempted, I like the Lightning in 60s colour schemes in silver with reds and blues. It also looks much better without the over-wing fuel tanks or missiles.
