Paul.
Well I noticed they had loads in the rear, can see something in the left hand one. ?

The Unimog load bed seats are in the middle facing outwards. #4 has inf. loaded up. #3 you see the empty seat tops. You'll notice you can't see through the side stakes on #s 3&4 where #2 you can see through them to the conex on board. The armor covers the sides to the top of the side stakes offering some protection to troops who may have to fight the truck. This is the cleaner solution. The other was cyclone fencing holding sandbags to the sides. PaulE

Tough to spot if you don't know what to look for. Thanks for calling it to our
attention.

Well that answers my question about the escorts then!:smiling4::smiling4::cool:

Another fantastic grouping Paul. Will you leave it displayed for a while or are they all packed away now ready for the next lot??

Packed away Steve, as the BW year is effectively over. WWII German is next year, so the Blacksmith Shop & Tigers on the Prowl 1 & 2 are up for completion next. PaulE

Get it on Paul, Currently building a "group" of 251 Ds (7 in all) for my future BOTB DIO. Looking forward to your next efforts from the Third Reich.
