Will cut up a ROCO sdkfz7 and add a resin 3t Bilstein crane kit. PaulE

Sounds painful but should be a lot of fun. Good luck my friend.

P.S Had the first snows of winter yet??

Will there be a scratch built Maybach StuG. engine suspended from the boom? Looking forward to seeing this done......whose boom kit are you using Paul?
Rick H. P.S. we had 4" last week Mr. Jones...gone now.

I take that as a yes then?:tears-of-joy::tears-of-joy::tears-of-joy::smiling6::smiling5::thumb2::cool:

Finally a pic Paul been waiting for that. I’m seated by John and Rick. John has been screened. Last time I tried to screen Rick it got Weird Rick hasn’t been screened

Hi Paul, Ahhhh....the "Bits" box.....right up my street! I just love it when you put the lid on and give it a few shakes.....never know what will pop out.
I'm in for this and Lee can keep his screening paws to hisself! :tongue-out2: JR, quit drooling.....I'm startin' to rust!!;)

Yes Dzohn, an Artmaster offering, it is @%^&**&^%$# resin. Boom broke when I tried to hot water bend it straight. Luckily I had a ROCO Tiger I boom from their gunless offering as the resin part was flung to parts unknown. Used heavy wire to mount plastic boom to remaining resin part. PaulE

I'll take plastic any day.......in our scale fine cast resin parts are fragile at best. Good recovery, hope there are no further mishaps.
Liking your progress so far :thumb2: Rick H.

Paul. Looking good sorry for the mishap I always hate the brittle Resin in 1/87 just one of the reasons I left that scale

Slow progress as etch is almost as fragile as resin. Lots of 2 fwd 1 bk. PaulE

Progress so far. Still messing with cable/pulleys for boom as kit doesn't supply all parts needed. PaulE
