Was in the kitchen with the back door open and heard a deep 'wup, wup' growl. My wife asked what the noise was, we looked out and saw two Apache's, fairly low thunder past, a real sight.

Not sure Dave, have seen many civvie, police, air-ambulance copters and one Chinnock, never seen Apache's, was a bit of a thrill to see them flyby.
 
It is mate, you need to experience them hovering near your position and letting go with the gun!! Form half a mile away it deafens you!


And then the flechette rockets go off and you know about it!


In telic ops they were a godsend to us on the ground, totally leveled the playing field!
