February 2024, I've been here 10 years, spoken to some interesting characters, seen some totally amazing builds and some not so amazing builds but the builder is still praised for effort and given advice on how to build better... a caring, sharing community is what I'm part of!

Definitely the better site than elsewhere, I find them catty and bitchy, can't be dealing with that!

An on other sites you wont get an aswer for ages as thats why this is the site to be on as all the guys talk daily which is how a forum should be

YES same here Miko as ive been here about 5 yrs but was on other sites as well an if i remember rightly i hust found this site by accident but found the people on here are a very nice crowd an so stayed an will keep on stayin if i can as i dont like that F/B

Good grief is it that long already, it only seems like yesterday it was the forum (MM) that we do not mention that had us as its guests

You cannot be talking about that site where they can get the latest multi thousand part kit and have it built, painted and weathered over a weekend where I joined for a few hours and after offering constructive criticism was informed that because of my attitude 'I would not be on the site for very long'... And after as I said a few hours I departed after a good explanation of what a reamer was and where it fitted....

Beware, we are leading you into a false sense of security, after a while you mysteriously vanish to be sold of in the slave markets of some third world country, your wife is left with a cardboard cutout of you and is happy that she can chat all day without interuption, and it is really the moderators that are doing all the modelling under your name.... Me, they have not caught me yet as I am down in the sewer, living under the manhole cover at the end of my street - see how clever I am, they would never think of looking for me there....

Doug, was it you that was looking for one of those knives that take the strip of blades, if so pm me your address and I will mail it to you, or if it was any other victim.
As for the dram, my excuse is the top came off in my hand....

Lee - mojo, I know the feeling, I could feel it starting to go on this build, just looking at two items that are simple to scratch I am on now, then I cleaned up the bench, had a sort around and started on the base and now back at it again. What caused it - worrying about using a new product I had not tried before and would it work - it worked better than I expected.

Yep, that's why I'm here, there are some modeling forums where the staff and regular patrons can be a bit.... much!

@Scratchbuilder Mike, the bench is in need of an overhaul and a freshen up, maybe something I can do tomorrow pending on time!
I was in a couple of other forums... think I'll stay here, I've never been back to the side, never will.
