I saw a picture with a Mustang in a black and white splinter camo, so I have a cheap kit with no instructions and really basic, so what better way to have some fun than to have a crack at it.

Stage one so far

I plan to cut the splinters out of tamiya tape and then over spray with back to get the effect I want, if nothing else it will be a test of my patience !

How it might look

Is this the 'butchered' kit froim the other thread? If so, nice work so far on the recovery. Looking forward to this alternative scheme!

N'ah this is another £4 kit I got a while back, the butchered kit is been shelved or if I can get a few quid for it I'll sell it at IPMS

With no further references, unless someone knows different, who's to say.

Do it as you think best Ade.

Tony

ps I just had a closer look at the image and the wing underside seem to mirror each other ? On further viewing, no they dont.

Confused of darlo:ohno:

Now I need to do the Olive drab wings and glare strip.
