discussion Advice on best adhesive please

I want to glue real sand onto a clear flat acrylic base, with the result that the sane looks as real as possible and the glue is not visible - Can someone please recommend what adhesive I should use please?

i can only think of PVA glue it dries transparent

Yes, watered down Pva is the stuff

Also can only think of PVA. I would roller it on using a small gloss sponge used for doors (cheap B & Q) to get a good coverage & flat as you may get ridges. As you only get one go at it Basil I would try it all on scrap first. PVA will wash out of sponge. Take it you will swish the sand backwards & forwards to get a good even coverage ?

Got to say I would cheat & buy it already stuck to paper.
