I'm still in the process of working on my 200mm Para with Gimpy and I need a diversion; therefore I thought I'd take the plunge and start my Takom 1/35 Hetzer with full interior (Takom 03.01.2171). Moulded in typical light grey plastic with a high parts count on 19 sprues(at least 517 plus metal barrel and cable, clear parts and decals), link and length tracks, superbly fine details and clean mouldings, plus the usual clear, well organised instruction booklet. I'll post sprue shots if people want to see them and a build log as i go! Wish me luck
Steve

Sounds like a kit that will need time, patience and skill. I'm sure your up to it. Front and center please.

Well good luck with, Steve, I'm sure it will turn out ace....
I'm half way through painting a Takom Pz1B and like you, I think the detail on Takom kits is top notch. Looking forward to seeing your Hetzer come to life!

I'll post a couple of progress shots Richard, its quite slow going as there's large chunks of resin that need drilling and pegging for security. I've spent a considerable amount of time cleaning up, undercutting pockets etc and working out the order of painting and detail construction. The three major elements are almost finished I'm glad to say!
Steve

Nice one Steve.Thats a hell of a chunk of resin fellla. The old Bergen must weigh a ton.If you fancy doing a Falklands 1.10th para in bust form let me know.Ive got one with Para helmet and Beret as head choices.

Progress so far; up to section 4 - transmission and forward elements. Next element is the engine compartment that has some very unclear instructions and vague location points - should be fun! I thought there were small parts up to this point but I live and learn!
